Communication via Profinet
Hi all,
I am new to this forum and sorry I can't speak German. I have a question regarding to use Labview with Profinet. Since I searched a lot of information about Hilscher and Interbus, so I guess maybe some of you are also familiar with profinet and give me some help.
I have a device which previously worked with Interbus standard. Now the system is upgraded and the device has to be working with profinet standard. I am not quite familiar with profinet, but according to my knowledge, profinet has the same physical layer as normal ethernet and also uses TCP/IP protocol. Does that mean I can connect my Labview program with this device via normal TCP/IP connections? Is there any special toolbox that can be used for profinet?
